Mail usThe treasure hunt can be used in multiple ways to tailor to your event's needs. This feature allows you to provide greater coverage to certain locations, exhibitors, users or programme items at your event.
Users will find the treasure hunt feature from the app's navigation and depending on how the treasure hunt has been set up users will be given an element to hunt for (location, programme, users or exhibitor). The user's task is to find a series of QR codes that when scanned unlock a question relevant to the area. Users will receive points for questions answered correctly, and it is possible to add a ranking list to show who is leading the treasure hunt
You can set up treasure hunts from within the Admin panel by completing the steps listed below:
Open the Admin panel
Go to the 'WOW-effects'
Choose 'Treasure hunt'
Click on '+ New hunt'
Fill in the Treasure hunt details (please use the table below for reference)
Click 'Save'
Once you have created a treasure hunt, you can duplicate it.
Important: you will need to add the treasure hunt to the apps navigation for it to be visible. Once you have added the treasure hunt to the app, you can start testing it. Note that you can only test it, when the treasure hunt is not live.
