Connection Center (Virtual event)

The Connection Center helps attendees form meaningful connections by sharing what they can offer and what they are looking for at the event. Attendees describe this in their own words, creating personalised and authentic networking opportunities.

In the Extensive package, this information also powers AI-Matchmaking, which automatically connects attendees with the most relevant people based on their profiles.

How Users Use the Connection Center

1. Open the Connection Center from the virtual event menu.

2. Fill in the information prompted:

   • Company name

   • Company role

   • I can deliver: What you bring to the table

   • I’m looking for: What others can help you with or offer at the event

3. The information becomes visible immediately and can be updated at any time.

AI-Matchmaking (Extensive Package)

AI Matchmaking analyses the information users enter, especially what they can deliver and what they are looking for, and automatically makes connections between the most compatible users. Users will receive a notification that they have been connected to another users.

To schedule AI Matchmaking for your event:

1. Open the Admin Panel and navigate to WOW-effects → AI-Matchmaker.

2. Click Generate new matches.

3. (Optional) Check “Automatically insert matches into the Connection Center after generation” this inserts the recommended connections directly into each user’s network list.

4. Enter the date and time in the Scheduled at field when you want a round of matches to be sent.

5. Click Generate matches to confirm the scheduling.

AI Matchmaking will then run at the scheduled time and create suggested matches for users based on the information in their Connection Center profiles.

How to Set Up the Connection Center (Organisers)

To enable the Connection Center in your app:

1. Open the Admin Panel.

2. Go to Navigation → Manage navigation.

3. Choose either Lobby tiles and/ or virtual event menu

4. Click Add new menu item.

5. Set the link to Modules, then choose Connection Center.

You have now successfully added the Connection Center to your App!
