# Certificates (App)

### How to create a certificate

You can create a certificate from the Admin panel using the following steps: 

1. Go to 'Content' -> 'Certificates'
2. Click on '+ New certificate'
3. Fill in the relevant details from the Table of reference as below
4. Make sure you Save changes
5. You will now see the certificate in the Certificates overview

#### Table of reference (+ New certificate)

| Field name             | Description                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   |

| Certificate name\*     | Name of the certificate                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       |
| Main text              | Main text displayed on the certificate                                                                                                                                                                                                                        |
| Date on certificate    | Date that will appear on the certificate (usually the date of the event)                                                                                                                                                                                      |
| Recipient Group        | Here, you can select who will receive the certificate.                                                                                                                                                                                                        |
| Certificate type       | <p>Here, you can select the type of certificates the users will receive. The two types of certificates are: </p><ul><li>Standard certificate (No session details)</li><li>In-person session-based certificate (includes attended in-person sesions)</li></ul> |
| **Person 1 (details)** |                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               |
| Name of person 1       | First-person who will sign the certificate                                                                                                                                                                                                                    |
| Signature of person 1  | Image of signature (400x400 pixels)                                                                                                                                                                                                                           |

### How to edit  a certificate

You can edit your certificates from the certificates overview found at 'Content' --> certificates&#x20;

### How to preview a certificate

Once you have created a certificate you can preview it by clicking on the eye symbol from the certificates overview page.

### How to send a certificate

You can send a certificate by email using the following steps:&#x20;

1. Go to the certificates overview (Content --> Certificates)
2. Click the email icon next to the certificate you wish to send
3. Using the blue buttons you can select a group of users to send the certificate to <br>

4. You can choose specific users to send the certificate by selecting the user(s) <br>

5. When ready to send click on the button 'Send e-mails'<br>

### Available for users to download

To enable users to download certificates in the app, follow these steps::

1. Open the Admin panel.
2. Hover on 'Navigation'
3. Click on 'Navigation settings'
4. Click on 'Add new item'
5. Give the navigation item a name, such as 'Certificates'
6. Select 'Modules' at 'Set link to related page\*'
7. Select 'Certificate' at the second dropdown list.&#x20;
8. Save changes
