Unique Emails mode
The main consequence of unique email mode is that all users registered to an event must be different.

When users are imported from external sources such as Weeztix or HubSpot that share an email address, the user emails after the first one imported will be made unique to be identifiable from each other.
Why use Unique Emails mode?
If you have multiple events that take place concurrently or have events that are regularly attended attended by the same attendees, e.g. internal events, it is possible to switch between events within the app.

To keep things secure, when one of these environments uses an open registration form, a verification step is required if a user registers to another event linked to the container.
This is to prevent security issues, namely that users are hijacked by registering to another event and switching event via the app.
User verification
Registering to an event via a registration form with an email known to the container will send a verification code to your email address. Fill in this code and the user is made.
Don't have access to the email address? Then the user isn't created.
