Data Hashing
User data is automatically hashed 3 months after the last event date recorded in the Admin Panel. Once this threshold is reached, the system anonymises all associated personal information and closes the environment.
What Is Hashed?
All user data is fully hashed. Hashing is an irreversible, one-way process that transforms the original data into unreadable strings. After hashing:
The original information cannot be restored.
No part of the data is identifiable.
Earlier hashing of data
As an organiser, you can choose to hash user data earlier than the automatic schedule. To set a custom hashing date:
Open the Admin Panel.
Go to Settings → General Settings.
Select General Settings.
In the left-hand menu, click Data Hashing.
Locate the setting “Date that the hashing will take place” and choose your desired date.
