# Event information settings

## The home page/settings <a href="#the-home-page-settings" id="the-home-page-settings"></a>

To find the event information within the admin panel:

1. In the Admin Panel, hover over settings.&#x20;
2. Select 'General settings'.

## Managing your event information <a href="#managing-your-own-privacy-statement" id="managing-your-own-privacy-statement"></a>

Manage event information by adjusting the following settings:

| Title                                                                       | Explanations                                                                                                                                                                                                |
| --------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Name of the event                                                           | The name of the event as shown on the virtual event landings page for example.                                                                                                                              |
| Name of your  location                                                      | The name of the virtual location used for calendar invites when using ICAL in the [onboarding mails](https://knowledge-base.letsgetdigital.com/the-admin-panel/communication/application/onboarding-mails). |
| What is your URL event name                                                 | The text that is displayed in the events URL after the 4 digit number.                                                                                                                                      |
| About us (Tell your audience who you are and what you do)                   | Write a short text about the event/company. The text will be displayed on the landings page of the virtual event platform.                                                                                  |
| Do you have a custom URL?                                                   | The URL of the platform could be customized for a fee. Discuss this with your personal Event Consultant.                                                                                                    |
| The date and time on which the check-in should be available                 | A countdown will show on the landing page. Attendees will only be able to login once the countdown is done. Organisers can still enter by clicking on the countdown.                                        |
| The date and time on which the event starts                                 | The start time of the event is used to calculate when to scale servers.                                                                                                                                     |
| The date and time on which the event ends (as shown on the calendar invite) | The platform will close at this time. All users will be logged out!                                                                                                                                         |
| The date and time on which the event ends                                   | The platform will close after this time and people will be logged out automatically. Users can still access the on-demand platform once the event has ended.                                                |
| The number of expected visitors                                             | The maximum amount of expected visitors. This information is mandatory and used to scale our servers. **Please check** the notification below.                                                              |

**Beware**: Please notify your Event Consultant at least a week before the event in case the number of expected visitors is over 1000 users.
