💻Earthquake (VP)

The earthquake feature is a wow effect that makes the whole platform (lobby) appear to break apart. It is used as a surprise effect during events.

Available for: online events; packages: core, advanced and extensive

How to set up the Earthquake

You can set up the Earthquake from the admin panel by completing the following steps:

1. Click on the tab 'WOW-effects'

2. Set the 'Earthquake video link' (YouTube or Vimeo) (this will automatically play once the earthquake has happened)

3. Choose 'whether the earthquake can be stopped' (when enabled the earthquake can be stopped early by the user)

Launch earthquake	The earthquake starts when clicked.
Test earthquake	Test the earthquake by activating it for yourself.

The end result

Please note: Organisers and speakers may always stop the earthquake to, for example, enter a sessions' room.

Attendees who join in while the earthquake was already launched are also able to see the WOW effect.
