Virtual event users

People attend meetings to connect with each other. The following article explains how a user can connect with another user in the app and virtual environment.

In the virtual environment

In the Let's Get Digital platform, users can connect through the 'Attendees' tab.

1. Click on 'Attendees'.

2. Click on a person you want to connect with.

3. Start a chat, request a video chat, request a date, or make a connection.

Video chat

During a 1-on-1 video chat users have the following options:

Click this icon to make a connection request.

Click this icon to request a meeting.

Click this icon to take a look at the profile of the user.

Click this icon to make notes.

Click this icon to add another user to the video chat.

You can export all your notes as an Excel file by navigating to your profile on the platform and clicking on the 'Download notes' button (if the option is enabled in the Admin Panel).

There is also the option to chat with text messages on the right side. This can be enabled and disabled here:

Hover over 'Settings', select 'Virtual event settings', and click on 'Networking bubble'. Make sure the 'Enable chat for one on one and group sessions' is on or off.
