Social Wall
The Social wall is a great tool to stimulate interactions amonst your event users in a Hybrid, In-person and/or Online context. Read further to see how you can use this feature.
The Let's Get Digital Social Wall is a fantastic tool to help connect, engage and stimulate interactions within your event accross platforms whether in-person, online or hybrid. The Social wall allows for both text and image content to be posted which can further be liked and commented on.
In the admin panel, hover over 'Settings' and choose 'Virtual event settings'. Select 'Social wall' on the left hand side menu.

Here you can choose who is allowed to post on the social. wall, enable if posts first need to be approved by organizers, enable comments as well as restrict the ability to post to certain user tags (if desired).
The social wall can be added as a lobby tile or as a navigation item to your virtual event. The news feed is added by default to the navigation in the app.

Users can post images, gifs or just text on the social wall. These posts can be commented on and liked by other users.

You can also create posts in the admin panel:
- 1.Click on +New post
- 2.Fill in the fields using the table below as a reference:
- 3.Once completed click 'Add post'

Schedule post | Schedule posts in advance, choose the date and time. |
Image | Choose the image to accompany the post. |
Edit icon: Click here to make adjustments similarly to when first creating a feed message.
Delete icon: Click here to remove the feed message altogether.


When the setting 'Enable post approval' is turned on, new wall posts have to first be reviewed in the admin panel by the event organisers. By navigating to 'Communication' and selecting 'Social wall', you can find all posts and approve/decline as well as edit and delete them.

Comments underneath the post can also be can also be edited or removed by organisers right on the social wall inside the virtual platform. By hovering on the comment, the edit and delete buttons will appear.

In the app, content on the social wall can be monitored in the admin panel as well, just as for the virtual event platform. Comments underneath the posts can be moderated by swiping left on them:

By navigating to 'Communication' and selecting 'Social wall', you can find all posts and export them with the button in the top right corner.
You can show off the Live Social wall at your In-person events by embedding the Social Wall URL using the steps below:
- 1.Open the Admin panel
- 2.Go to Communication --> Social Wall
- 3.Click on the Setting Wheel symbol
- 4.Choose Open iframe
- 5.Copy the URL of the page
- 6.The URL can be placed in various places at your event for example; Event televisions.
