Call to action (VP)
Call to action (CTA) can be used in programme items to generate additional leads or provide users with a link to external sources or materials.
Available for: online events; packages: core, advanced and extensive

Manual adjustments in the admin panel

In the admin panel click on 'Content' and select 'Call to action'.

The overview

The overview shows calls to action that have been setup, either in the admin panel or in the virtual event platform. These can be customised to be displayed in session on the virtual platform. The purpose of the call to action button will be explained in more detail below.

Results can be viewed by clicking the text balloon icon under actions, from here an export can be generated. An Excel-sheet with the export of the results can be generated by clicking the download icon under actions.

Creating a call to action

Click 'New call to action' in the Call to Actions overview.
A call to action can have one out of two types:
  • CTA lead - Get contact info by asking users to share their profile information.
  • CTA link - Provide users with a link to external sources or materials (Brochure, Website, Video).
Fill in the fields as applicable:

Explanation
Name
Name of the CTA as displayed for admins and speakers.
Type
CTA type, either lead or link.
Title
Title as displayed in the virtual platform.
Description
Description of the CTA, which will be displayed on the pop-up in a session.
Button text
Text displayed on the button of the CTA pop-up.
Entity type
The CTA can be activated in a session or company.
Session / Company
Select the session or company the CTA should be connected to.
Open call to action
When enabled, the CTA pop-up will be opened immediately when send.
Phone number required?
When enabled, the user has to fill in their phone number to receive the CTA.
Send
Select to send the CTA at a planned time, when send now is pressed in the session or send the CTA directly.

Manual adjustments in the virtual platform

With CTA's it is possible to generate additional leads. You can schedule these (from the admin panel or in the virtual platform), but also add them to a company booth or session during the event.

CTA in a company stand

For exhibitor connected to a company, the CTA's button will be displayed in their company booth.
Click the 'CTA's' button in the company booth to manage your CTA's.
In the CTA tab, the CTA's that have been created are displayed:

Manage the created CTA's by clicking the three dots. The options are:
  • Edit
  • Remove

Add CTA

Click the 'Add CTA' button to create a new CTA.
Fill in the fields as applicable. The settings are explained at the top of this page.

Download CTA's

Export an Excel file including responses to CTA's straight from a company booth. The setting has to be enabled for each individual company.
Under the core license, information provided by the users within the CTAs can't be downloaded/extracted. CTAs can then still be used to provide information to users, but not to retrieve information from users.

CTA in a session

When the 'Admin' button is selected, the session tools will be displayed:

Manage the planned CTA by clicking the three dots. The options are:
  • Send now
  • Edit
  • Remove

Add CTA

Click the 'Add CTA' button to create a new CTA.
Fill in the fields as applicable. The settings are explained at the top of this page.

End results

Companies
Sessions
Users will see a button in the company stand to access the newest created CTA.
Other CTA's are located under the 'More' tab.
Attendees will see the following pop-up if enabled:
