App as Official Ticket for Entry

For in-person events, the event app can be used as the official ticket for entry. In this setup, the QR code inside the app is the only valid access credential. No PDF tickets, e-mails or printed confirmations are required.

Using the app as the ticket helps organisers centralise access control, increase app usage, and reduce friction at the entrance.

HOW “APP = TICKET” WORKS

Each registered attendee receives access to the event app. Inside the app, a personal QR code is available. This QR code is scanned at the entrance to check the attendee in. No alternative titicket formats are used. The QR code reflects the real-time check-in status of the attendee.
