Platform layout and resolution

Your monitor resolution may affect the layout of the platform similar to the zoom of your browser window. Hence, the recommended screen resolution is 1920x1080. If your browser window is zoomed in or out this will also affect how you see the platform. See examples below:
Example 67%
Example 100%
Example 125%
Two ways to fix the zoom of your browser window are the following:
  1. 1.
Press and hold 'ctrl' then press '-' or '+' to change the zoomed view. You can also access this via the small magnifying glass icon found next to the bookmark star (see image below).
  2. 2.
Press and hold 'ctrl' then use your middle mouse scroll wheel to scroll between different zoom values (shown as percentages as seen below).
On some laptops or desktops using Windows 10 (should be similar for other window OSs’) you can adjust your resolution by following the following four steps:
  1. 1.
    Click your start/window button.
  2. 2.
In search box search for 'resolution'.
  3. 3.
Click 'Change the resolution of the display'.
  4. 4.
In the new window scroll down until you find 'Display resolution' here you can select your desired resolution.
  5. 5.
(Optional) Change the 'Change the size of text, apps, and other items' field to 100% if not already set to 100%.
Note: you have to confirm the change of resolution or the original resolution will remain. You will see a pop-up about this.
Additional note: changing the zoom via these settings will affect your entire screen similar to how the zoom percentage change of the browser mentioned prior.
