# Global login

A global admin account is the single login you use to reach the Let's Get Digital admin panel. You sign in once at the portal and get to all of your events from one place — and if you manage more than one, you switch between them from a single overview instead of logging in to each separately.

{% hint style="info" %}

### Note

The portal interface is currently available in English only.
{% endhint %}

## Sign in

Go to [**live.letsgetdigital.com**](https://live.letsgetdigital.com/). The sign-in page offers three ways to sign in — pick the one that suits you.

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="/files/yizSXnoG1eAO0FmelgCQ" alt=""><figcaption><p>The Let's Get Digital login page with its 3 default login methods.</p></figcaption></figure></div>

{% tabs %}
{% tab title="Email one-time code" %}
{% stepper %}
{% step %}

#### Enter your email

Type your email address, then click **"Sign in"**.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Open the login code email

We email you a message titled **"Your login code"** containing a **6-digit code**.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Enter the code

Type the code on the next screen to finish signing in. You can also click the one-click **"Sign in"** button in the email instead.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

{% hint style="warning" %}

### Warning

The one-click **"Sign in"** button in the email only works in the browser you started signing in from. If you opened the email on a different device, type the 6-digit code into the original browser instead. The code expires after 15 minutes.
{% endhint %}
{% endtab %}

{% tab title="Passkey" %}
If your browser and device support passkeys, the sign-in page shows a **"Continue with passkey"** button. Click it to sign in with your device's fingerprint, face, or PIN — no code needed.

You can set up a passkey at any time from your **Account** page. See [Your account page](#your-account-page) below.
{% endtab %}

{% tab title="Google" %}
Click **"Continue with Google"** to sign in with your Google account.
{% endtab %}
{% endtabs %}

<details>

<summary>I didn't get my one-time code</summary>

* Check your spam or junk folder for the email titled **"Your login code"**.
* Confirm you entered the right address. If not, use the **"Use a different email"** link on the code screen to start again.
* The code expires after 15 minutes — if it's older than that, start the sign-in again to get a fresh code.
* The one-click **"Sign in"** button in the email only works in the browser you began signing in from. If you opened the email elsewhere, type the 6-digit code into the original browser.

</details>

<details>

<summary>My browser doesn't support passkeys</summary>

The **"Continue with passkey"** button only appears when your browser and device support passkeys. If you don't see it, sign in with the email one-time code or with Google instead. You can register a passkey later from your **Account** page once you're using a supported browser.

</details>

## Keep your account secure

Your global admin account has several built-in protections:

* **Session timeout:** your session expires after 2 hours of inactivity.
* **Re-verification:** you're asked to verify your identity again after 24 hours.
* **Lockout protection:** after 5 failed sign-in attempts within 60 minutes, your account is locked. We email you an **"Unlock your account"** message with a link to unlock it.
* **Code binding:** each login code is tied to the browser session that started the sign-in, so a code can't be used elsewhere.

{% hint style="info" %}

### Note

After entering your email, you'll see a neutral message — we never reveal whether an account exists. This is intentional: it protects your privacy and stops anyone probing which email addresses are registered.

## The Environments overview

Right after you sign in, you land on the **Environments** overview. This lists every event you can manage.

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="/files/cBri1UkclV8N8OEIupr9" alt="" width="563"><figcaption><p>Global Login event overview</p></figcaption></figure></div>

**Find an environment**

* Use the **search box** to find an event by name.
* Use the filter chips **"All"**, **"Upcoming"**, and **"New"** to narrow the list.

**How environments are shown**

| Type                 | How it appears                                                                          |
| -------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Container event** | A parent card with a **"Master"** badge, with its child events **indented** beneath it. |
| **Standalone event** | A separate, flat card.                                                                  |
| **Newly linked** | Marked with a red **"New"** badge. |

Each environment shows its ID,  type (Hybrid, In-person, Online, etc.), and the event start date.&#x20;

To enter an event, click the **"→ arrow"** on its card. This drops you straight into that event's normal admin panel.

If you see one of these messages, there's nothing to switch into yet:

* **"You are not linked to any environments yet."** — no events are linked to your account.
* **"No environments match your filters."** — adjust your search or filter selection.

## Switching to another environment

When you're already inside an event, you can jump to a different one without logging out.

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

#### Open the environment switcher

In the admin sidebar, click **"Switch environment"** to return to the **Environments** overview. A **red dot** appears next to this item when a new environment has been linked to your account.

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="/files/6VyaWYXaNlSLRrYHtZZz" alt=""><figcaption><p>Switching tool is found at bottom of menu.</p></figcaption></figure></div>
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Find the environment

Use the **search box** or the **"All"** / **"Upcoming"** / **"New"** filter chips to locate the event you want.

<figure><img src="/files/4E6I2mjVwbyOEruEUdN1" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Open it

Click the **"→ arrow"** on the event's card to enter its admin panel.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Complete 2FA if prompted

If that environment has two-factor authentication (2FA) set up for your account, enter your 2FA code before you go in.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

{% hint style="warning" %}

### Important

Per-environment 2FA still applies — your global login does not replace it.
{% endhint %}

## Your account page

Open the **Account** page from the portal to view your details and manage passkeys.

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="/files/DMK61HoKs08oYmbP3yBA" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

**Profile** shows your **First name**, **Last name**, and **Email**. These are read-only and can't be edited here.

**Passkeys** let you sign in to Let's Get Digital without a password or OTP code using your device's fingerprint scanner, faceID (or equivalent), or PIN. Click **"Manage passkeys"** to register a new passkey or manage existing ones.

## How environments get linked to your account

You don't need to accept or request events — linking happens automatically:

* Existing admins were linked to their events by a one-time migration.
* Whenever you're added as an admin to any event, you're automatically linked to your global account by email, and that event appears in your **Environments** list with no manual accept step.

Newly linked environments are highlighted with the red **"New"** badge, and the red dot next to **"Switch environment"**, so you can spot them at a glance.

## Signing in from a single event's login page

If you open an individual event's admin login page, you'll see a "Go to global login" button that takes you to the portal to sign in. Admin events no longer use a separate per-environment password — global login has replaced it.

If your organisation has set up single sign-on (SSO) on that environment, you'll see your identity provider's sign-in button instead of — or alongside — the "Go to global login" button, depending on the environment's login mode. See [Single sign-on (SSO)](/accounts-and-security/single-sign-on-sso-wip.md).
